Aerodynamics for Engineering Students By Houghton and Carruthers
As
a book it's rich in theory and is suitable for undergraduate students
studying in the field of aerospace engineering. The book has some solved
examples which are very much application oriented and the majority of
the unsolved examples are advanced for an undergrad student. The
coverage of the Bernoulli and continuity equation is not enough in the
book, that's why the student might need to resort to fluid mechanics
books. The same applies for solved and unsolved examples. Chapters 3,4
and 7 are the richest in ideas and details which is a logical approach
due to the strong coupling of flight with aerofoils not forgetting good
understanding of boundary layers.
